Model numeryczny odwodnienia złoża węgla brunatnego Złoczew

The paper presents the results of numerical calculations of draining the Złoczew lignite deposit with finite element method. The paper is a part of pre feasibility study report. The numerical model was made using FlexPDE v 6 soft. At calculation of the model a previously performed analysis of hydrogeological and geological conditions containing among others of supplying water, proposals of the way of draining and carrying underground waters.

Warunki hydrogeologiczne w rejonie odkrywkowych kopalń piasku w gminie Bukowno

The thesis presents hydrogeological conditions which characterize Bukowno community. It contains the drainage issues which are conducted in order to sand opencast exploitation for „Szczakowa” mine. Description of mine’s drainage scale in Bukowno community also includes the impact that comes from mine’s activity called Mining and Metallurgical Plants „Bolesław” located in Olkusz. The thesis also presents the forecast of hydrogeological conditions and water quality changes, that will appear as a result of „Szczakowa” mine’s drainage modification and Olkusz’s mines closure and submergence. Field research of water flow in Sztoła river were carried out and described. The chemical composition of surface water in Bukowno community was executed. The results of the research confirmed the thesis that water flow rate and quantity has changed dramatically, as a result of mine drainage.
