    Mineral deposits are part of the environment, that is why they are protected to safe conditions of their exploitation. To be able to determine the type of protection, it is necessary to perform valuation of deposits. In the municipality of Sieniawa there are fourteen documented mineral deposits. Most of them are natural aggregate of minerals, natural gas and raw materials of clay pottery construction. Therefore, in this thesis, valorization by B. Radwanek – Bak was chosen, which is based on the aspects of geology, raw materials, planning and sozology. In the process of valorization there were used data gathered from planning documents, geological materials and mapping of mineral deposits. The results of valuation are presented tabular and graphically. Thirteen deposits are classified as usual security deposits, which are included in the Study of Conditions and Directions of Spatial Development and Local Zoning Plan. One deposit was assigned to the highest protection, it is a natural gas field, which resources should be included in the planning documents of the region and municipalities. In the area of it’s exploitation can not be set permanent buildings.
