Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Algorytmy automatycznego wyliczania bilansu mas węgla surowego oraz skały płonnej przy drążeniu chodników(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2011) Krowiak, AndrzejIn the article mathematical models being used to automating calculations of balance of masses of raw coal and the barren rock were described, for each of working days comprising for the project of opening deposits (driving of the galleries). Three types of algorithms were considered: for the model assuming the successive performance of excavations, for the model taking into account the division of individual excavations into intervals differing indeed the proportion of raw coal and the waste rock and the model assuming parallel driving a few excavations. Enumerated functions are suitable to direct utilization, after defining entrance data.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Analiza odległości i czasu między wstrząsami ze strzelań torpedujących a samoistnymi o energii rzędu E4 J w warunkach KW SA KWK »Piast«(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2008) Rusinek, Józef; Kurnik, StanisławIn the years 2002-2006 there were carried out the mining operations at the areas V, VII, VIII, XV and XVII, which were a reason of rock-mass tremors and 1532 rock-mass tremors with the seismic energy of the order 10/4 J occurred. In the analysed period 751 torpedo blastings were carried out and 598 tremors were registered as a result of torpedo blasting. After joining the database of rock-mass tremors with the seismic energy of the order 10/4 J and tremors of torpedo blasting which link to the same area of the mine, there were obtained 311 tremors of torpedo blasting and 1118 rock-mass tremors with the seismic energy of the order 10/4 J. Inter-correlation between tremors concerns a distance from a hypocenter of the tremor of torpedo blasting to a hypocenter of the rock-mass tremor with the seismic energy of the order 10/4 J and a distance from a place of detonation of explosive charge (a foot of a blasthole) to a hypocenter of the rock-mass tremor with the seismic energy of the order 10/4 J. The time period between tremors of torpedo blasting and rock-mass tremors with the seismic energy of the order 10/4 J was also a subject of the analysis.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Analiza wyników produkcyjno-ekonomicznych branży węgla brunatnego w roku 2008(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2009) Żuk, StanisławThe topic of this paper presentation of the up-to-date status of the brown coal mining in Poland based on the production data of four brown coal mines having been running the business in Poland in the last ten years and on the basis of the production effects and the latest achievements in the branch. The tested material mainly consists of copper slag with different content of copper melts, being a semi product. The copper metallurgy remains, discovered during the research, undergo specialistic analyses, which will help better characterise the findings as well as contribute to documenting metallurgical processes in the historical bloomeries in Lower Silesia, and moreover to prepare further research in this field. The material coming from the area of Miedzianka, being the oldest and the longest working exploitation centre of copper ores and pollymetalic ores, is of special significance for the research. Mining activity in the area of Miedzianka took place as early as the beginning of the 14th century, the first record from 1311 (Cuprifodina in montubus) is the oldest information concerning copper mining in Poland.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Automated transfer point URB/ZS-3(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2017) Krauze, Krzysztof; Rączka, Waldemar Stanisław; Sibielak, Marek; Konieczny, Jarosław; Kubiak, Dariusz; Culer, Henryk; Bajus, DanielIn the KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. mines, excavated material is transported by transport trucks to transfer points and then by belt conveyors to near-shaft storage reservoirs, from where the excavated material is transported to the surface by means of a shaft transport system. Transfer from the means of non-continuous haulage to the continuous transport systems takes place at transfer points, where the excavated material is divided into two fractions: oversized grain and undersized grain. The oversized excavated material (which stays on the grating) is subjected to a process of crushing with the use of jack hammers. The article describes the URB/ZS-3 device for the automatic cleaning of the grating at transfer points, and briefly describes the design and principle of operation of the device. It also presents the purpose of constructing a block-crushing device and the method of its automation.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Badania grawimetryczne stref występowania pustek antropogenicznych na wybranych przykładach(Data obrony: 2013-11-14) Śliwa, Marta
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe thesis describes the results of microgravity studies in the area of occurrence of adits and mining tunnels in the neighbourhood of Olkusz at Silesia-Cracow Upland. The choice of this geophysical method was dictated by the depth of appearance of the void, and density contrast between seeking object and the surroundings. As a follow-up investigation method were used a GPR method. The results of microgravity researches have been analysed by qualitative (by using a polynomial method) and quantitative (by gravimetric modelling) interpretation. Finally the results of both methods was summarized together. Analysis of the received data allowed us to estimate the size, location and course of the tunnel.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Badania mikrograwimetryczne nad płytko leżącymi starymi sztolniami wydrążonymi w piaskowcu(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2009) Porzucek, SławomirShallow underground exploitation of mineral and rock resources has left behind shallow-seated workings that often are made accessible to tourists. Therefore the crucial matter is to determine the stability of the underground workings. Geomechanics research and modeling are applied to solving the problem. This paper presents the use of the microgravity method to recognize density distribution in the rockmass overlying old mining workings. Results of investigations made over three adits drifted in the Istebna sandstones. Rock slackness zones were discovered over two galleries. As a result of the gravity modeling, the size of the zones and bulk density decrease were obtained. The results should help in construction of right geomechanics model as well as qualitative evaluation of the condition of workings.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Badania zasięgu i intensywności strefy spękań wokół chodnikowych wyrobisk korytarzowych(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2009) Kabiesz, Józef; Patyńska, RenataIn the Carboniferous stratified rock mass there occur discontinuity systems coupled to its lithologic structure and the structural features of rocks. The formation of an opening causes the cracks to part, which frequently leads to the essential degradation of the rock mass strength parameters around the opening. Changes in the rock mass properties around the excavation can be of the highest importance to the selection of its proper support, as well to the assessment of maintenance requirements, hazards occurring in its vicinity, rock mass imperviousness, etc. The problem of the fracture distribution around excavations has been confined to the characteristic of natural fractures. The rock fracture distribution has been investigated and assessed based on the in situ performed studies of endoscopic bore-holes and on the aerometric measurements. From the obtained results of the analysis and the existing rock mass classifications, the fracture characteristics of the surroundings of the excavations under study are presented and, for example, the rock mass imperviousness classification needed for their use in the formation of underground storage facilities to store gases and liquids is given.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Betek modern tool systems(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2022) Wojdyło, GrzegorzDuring the transformation period, in order to secure sufficient amounts of energy and to ensure that energy systems remain stable, it will still be necessary to produce energy based on raw materials such as coal, natural gas, and oil derivatives. Hence, mining techniques are being developed to increase productivity and improve safety by eliminating workstations that pose a risk to human health and life. This is ensured by fully automated mining systems. However, even the best-designed system is only as strong as its weakest link. In most mining machines, the cutting tool that has the most impact on performance are the tangential rotary bits (picks). Fully automated mining machine systems only make sense if the working units are designed with high-quality materials used in the production of bit holders, bit sleeves, and the bits themselves. This is something that EURO-TECH PLUS Sp. z o.o. has been working on together with Betek for years.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Chemizm wody w Wiśle między Jeziorem Goczałkowickim a ujściem Skawy(Data obrony: 2017-10-18) Bartuś, Natalia

In this region tectonic stresses can be intensified by other stresses which have occurred owing to mining exploitation. To obtain the most valuable information on this relation leading to its plausible interpretation, it seems to be purposeful and advisable to apply geodynamical investigation. However, such a kind of investigation belongs to a long-term one, and its interpretation is relatively difficult owing to the fact that the area is under the intensive mining exploitation resulting in large dislocation and mining damage. That is why the geodynamical investigation in such troublesome region, despite the use of a high-tech GPS method, should be additionally developed by making detailed geological inspection and seismological research. Moreover, a geological survey should be done with great accuracy in the region of mining activity because it plays a key role in a complex interpretation based on obtained data. In the paper preliminary results of GPS measurements taken from 8 survey points are presented. The survey points were located meridionally in the north and central part of the USCB between Świerklaniec town and Mikołów town.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Geotechniczne problemy utrzymania wyrobisk korytarzowych w złożonych warunkach geologiczno-górniczych(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2005) Chudek, Mirosław; Duży, StanisławThe output of useful minerals with underground methods causes the necessity of accomplishing and maintaining excavations in a defined time.
