    Bochnia salt deposit belongs to the Miocene formations saliferous formation floor Baden, which was deposited in the foreland of the Carpathian Flysch. In this paper, was presented the general characteristics of the Carpathian Foredeep and an outline of the geological structure of rock salt in Bochnia. The object of this study was six samples taken from various levels of a salt mine in Bochnia. In these studies, the observations of macro-and microscopic and chemical analyzes.
