The 3D seismic survey is based on the promising hydrocarbon exploration area: Lwówek – Brody. The prospective formations for accumulation of oil and gas are the Main Dolomite and the Zechstein Limestone. In the considerations the homogeneous models with the zones of higher and lower values of velocity and attenuation as well as gradient media were taken into consideration. In the analysis of the effectiveness the centroidal frequencies of the signals observed in the receiver points and traveltimes generated for assumed models were used. The application of simple seismic modeling for the interpretation of low resolution seismic data is presented. Realization of seismic modeling to made possible confirmation the accuracy of established seismogeological model by the correlation of synthetic and real section. In the thesis presented a detailed description of geological interpretation of seismic data, methodology of seismic modeling and a comparative analysis of the theoretical wave fields and recorded. It makes possible obtaining essential information about wave propagation in geological media without necessity of computing the full wave field. In this paper the theoretical principle of seismic ray tracing has been presented. Moreover few typical models of inhomogeneous geological media have been taking into account. Ray tracing methods have been divided into several categories and shooting method has been particularly described. Seismogeological models, developed on the basis of previously interpreted horizons and well data, can be confirmed by seismic modelling on the basis of comparison theoretical with recorded seismic sections. Additional availability of PS sections, beside PP sections, sanctions S wave velocity model construction, which is an important element of reservoir interpretation. This article presents methodology of seismic modelling, comparison of theoretical with recorded seismic sections and finally developed depth P and S wave welocity models for the chosen profile. The reliable reconstruction of the structural system of the platform basement formations require application of 2D seismic modelling. The paper presents the application of seismic modelling for interpretation of the 56-1-89K profile, recorded in the Stryszawa structure area, in the western part of the Outer Carpathians. Seismogeological models were developed using borehole data (Lachowice 7 and Ślemień 1) and the preliminary interpreted 56-1-89K profile. Theoretical time sections were computed with the softwares: Outrider and Omega. Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaModelowanie wpływu upadu warstw pozwala na śledzenie na zapisie sejsmicznym sygnałów pochodzących od warstw nachylonych, odpowiednie przygotowanie sekwencji przetwarzania, a także ułatwia interpretację danych sejsmicznych. Tworzenie modelu i symulacja odpowiedzi sejsmicznej odbywa się odpowiednio za pomocą procedur Interactive Velocity Editor i 2D Acoustic FD Modeling programu ProMAX. Kształt i położenie hodografu na kolekcjach tras sejsmicznych zależy od głębokości zalegania warstwy, prędkości fali w ośrodku oraz od kąta upadu warstw. Warstwy nachylone występują częściej w przyrodzie niż warstwy poziome i towarzyszą strukturom interesującym pod względem poszukiwania węglowodorów, np.: pułapki strukturalne, antykliny, wysady solne, itp.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Modelowanie wpływu wybranych parametrów sprężystych ośrodka oraz metodyki obserwacji na zmiany cech dynamicznych oraz kinematycznych odbić czerwonego spągowca(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2011) Kasina, ZbigniewThe main purpose of the study was to define the influence of the elastic parameters of the geological medium (velocities, medium anisotropy, medium attenuation), aquisition parameters (long offsets, seismic signal parameters) and selected processing procedures (stacking velocity estimation and defining the kinematic corrections) on reflections from the Rotliegendes boundaries within Golce- 1 well region. In order to solve the formulated task a program for numerical modeling of the seismic ray trajectories in the anisotropic medium (VTI) with attenuation was developed by the author. The seismogeological models were based on data from the scientific publications as well as available data taken from well measurements, which comprised of sonic logs and check shots. The results of the analysis confirmed that both the velocity anisotropy and long spreads had no significant effect on stacking velocity errors and kinematic corrections estimation. Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaCelem niniejszej pracy jest ocena wpływu zmian miąższości anhydrytu podstawowego na sejsmiczny obraz dolomitu głównego. Najważniejszym zagadnieniem będzie tutaj miąższość anhydrytu. Problem wystąpił w rejonie zdjęcia sejsmicznego 3D Brody i rozwiązano go przy użyciu oprogramowania pakietu GeoGraphix firmy Halliburton. Poszukiwane złoża związane są tutaj z lokalnymi podniesieniami dolomitu głównego, który to przykryty jest warstwą anhydrytu podstawowego. Wyniesienie struktury związane jest z solą najstarszą PZ1. W wyniku tej działalności mogło dojść do zeszczelinowania sztywnego dolomitu głównego, czego potwierdzeniem może być otwór Lwówek-2k, w którym zanotowano przepływ gazu ziemnego.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Wykorzystanie atrybutów bazujących na danych sejsmicznych przed składaniem do oceny stopnia nasycenia gazem warstw złożowych, NE część zapadliska przedkarpackiego(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2008) Pietsch, Kaja; Tatarata, ArturThe question, whether it is possible to create such indicators that would allow to assess a saturation degree of reservoir pore space directly from seismic response, is interesting for hydrocarbon prospecting in the NE part of the Carpathian Foredeep. The dependence of seismic image of gas reservoir upon plenty of petrophysical parameters causes that the analysis of their influences on seismic response were based on seismic multi-variant modelling. Seismic model approximating »Łukowa« gas reservoir was constructed with Hampson-Russell System (CGGVeritas) accordingly with a geometry of profile no T0152005 acquired by Geofizyka Toruń Ltd. and additionally supported by log data from Ł-2 well. This paper presents results of the tests of interpretative procedures based on pre-stack seismic data such as AVO Product, Fluid Factor, lambdap and microp, elastic impedance. The correctness of established criteria was confirmed by a juxtaposition of an inflow rate obtained from a drill-stem tester and the interpreted seismic profile.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Wykorzystanie sejsmicznych przekrojów fal podłużnych i przemiennych do kalibracji modelu prędkości fal poprzecznych(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2006) Marzec, Paweł ; Kobylarski, Marcin; Pietsch, KajaComparisons of P and S or converted wave (C-wave) seismic sections can improve identification of seismic reservoir anomalies. In Poland, the first experimental seismic P and C-wave survey was performed by Geofizyka Kraków Ltd (under supervision of PGNiG S.A.) in the area of Chałupki Dębniańskie (Carpathian Foredeep). High diversity of physical parameters in analyzed formations, small dimensions of geological targets and a lack of experience in C-wavefield interpretation caused theoretical wavefield modeling extremely indispensable for local reservoir interpretation. A shortage of satisfactory amount of well log data, particularly S-wave velocity information, caused a determination of S-wave changeability with depth the main problem in wavefield modeling. This paper proposes a method of calibration of measured or synthetic S-wave curves based upon both the recognized P-wave velocity distribution in the profile and the registered P and C-wavefield. Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe aim of the PhD thesis was to determine petrophysical parameters distribution along chosen profiles, determination of the influence of attributes calculated on the basis on well and multicomponent seismic data on the obtained results and development of the workflow for cases where not all necessary geophysical data are available. Region of interest localized in the Carpathian foreland was covered by Krzeczów-Rajsko 2D 3C seismic survey. In the area Rajsko gas reservoir and Krzeczów multi-horizon gas reservoir were found within respectively the Cenomanian sandstones and sandy-shaly Miocene formation. Workflow of the project consisted of: analysis of the geological conditions of hydrocarbon occurrence in the study area and study (based on publications) referred to petrophysical parameters prediction on the basis of well and multicomponent seismic data, synthetic S-wave velocity curves construction, correlation of well data with seismic PP and PS profiles and their interpretation, well data analysis focused on searching for dependencies between Vp, Vp/Vs and other petrophysical parameters, construction of seismogeological models, seismic modelling, calculation and interpretation of seismic attributes and finally prediction of porosity, gas saturation and clay content along the profiles. On the basis of the presented research it can be assumed that developed workflow gives well enough results. The quality of multicomponent data and knowledge of S-wave velocity distribution (beside P-wave velocity) are the key elements of petrophysical parameters prediction quality.
