    In the dissertation a speech signal processing mechanism based on the adaptive non-uniform delta modulation method and its hardware implementation have been shown. The work is aimed at the study on the Adaptive Non-uniform Sampling Delta Modulation (ANSDM) codec design precondition and difficulties occurring during prototype building. In the first paragraphs the analytical dependence between the quality and codec parameters adaptation mechanism has been discussed. It shown that the contrary ANS-DM algorithms has potential possibilities to achieve better SNR. Next the investigations of the bit error robustness of the ANS-DM system with sampling and step size adaptation have been presented. The phenomena of overloading and dynamic regulation of the dc level in the reconstructed signal, as a result of the transmission gap, have been discussed. Finally, a hardware example of the codec functional blocks: analog comparator, logic adaptation block with the sampling frequency generator and A/D converter (a charge parceling integration) have been carried out. The proposed implementation are addressed to the ASIC full custom chip.
