    Performance of operations on the data decreases at high detail level. It is possible to simplify or eliminate the information that is not relevant for some activities. By using morphological methods known from the analysis and digital image processing, possible is reduction of detail, which significantly affects the size and performance of databas. Simplification algorithms eliminate the relatively small objects by their reduction or joining them to others. Number of points in the geometry is essential in processing times and therefore the use of morphological methods should involve the use of the reduction algorithm of points on the curve.
