Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Ocena stanu chemicznego wód w otoczeniu składowiska odpadów komunalnych „Barycz”(Data obrony: 2013-10-31) Sitko, Agata
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaEvaluation of water chemical status in the area of the Barycz municipal waste dump was conducted according to results of surface water and groundwater quality monitoring (2008-2012). Evaluation of groundwater chemical status was based on the results of sampling control piezometer P3, located on the water outflow of the holocene-pleistocene aquifer. Analysis of the results showed that the groundwater in the area of the Barycz municipal waste dump have a V-class water quality, and therefore represents the poor chemical status. It can be concluded that the groundwater in the area of the Barycz municipal waste dump are brines (due to very high concentrations of chlorides ) . Very high concentrations also have a sulfates , sodium, calcium, potassium. This is due to the existence of a permanent , primary hot spots - the pollutants are connected with mining exploitation residues. The analysis of surface water was based on the results of sampling point F, located in the direction of flow of Malinówka stream and points D, H – located at the outflow of water from the area of the landfill. Malinówka stream classified as class II surface water quality (due to the dominance of chloride).
