Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Nieliniowa deformacja izotropowej sfery grubościennej(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2009) Cała, Marek; Paluch, Marian; Tajduś, AntoniLiquid and gas fuels or other fluids may be stored in containers of several shapes. This paper deals with spherical reservoirs located overground or underground. The walls of the container are made from Mooney material. In case of overground containers, the internal fluid pressure may be much higher from external pressure (from atmospheric pressure). In case of underground ones, internal and external pressures may differ depending on reservoir size, location and virgin stress field. That's why, four different cases of pressure conditions were analysed with application on non-linear elasticity theory. The presented solution may be applied in initial stages of design of spherical reservoirs located overground or underground.
