Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaIn this work carried out numerical calculations of seismic wave propagation conditions in the coal bed. Accepted elastic – plastic medium in a two – dimensional system with Coulomb – Mohr criterion. Calculations were performed for different values of the oscillation frequency of simulated source of shock and different directions of excitation source signal. Also been considered variants with varying thickness of coal bed. In this work program FLAC 5.00.355 has been used which is based on finite differences method FDM. Performed numerical calculations show seismic wave propagation conditions in the coal bed for specific geological conditions of rock mass.
