Item type:Doctoral Dissertation, Access status: Open Access , Odtwarzanie stanu systemów dynamicznych z dyskretnych danych pomiarowych(Data obrony: 2010) Baranowski, Jerzy
Wydział Elektrotechniki, Automatyki, Informatyki i ElektronikiThe thesis considers a problem of continuous state estimation from discrete output measurements. It is a problem of practical importance. In industrial applications we often require stabilisation along with good quality of control. To fulfil this requirement we need full information about the state through the entire process operation. Practice shows that usually measurements are discrete in time and only certain quantities are measured. In the thesis an algorithm for continuous state estimation is presented. This algorithm relies on an cyclic prediction and correction steps. Certain properties of algorithm are discussed along with appropriate theorems. The problems of continuous solutions and bounds on errors are considered. Three chapters of the thesis are focused on methods of correction (state estimation) in linear and nonlinear systems and on approximate state estimation. Among the others $C^{\circ}$ optimal observer, hybrid Newton observer and moving horizon estimation are presented. Along with the methods of estimation many improvements are presented, for example a method of analytical computation of gradients with respect to initial conditions. Effects of algorithms were illustrated with examples from areas of medicine, population dynamics, mechatronics and others.
