Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Dwuwymiarowe modelowania i analiza procesów naftowych utworów paleozoiku w rejonie Kazimierzy Wielkiej(Data obrony: 2014-10-30) Turek, Artur
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaIn the paper author carried out the generation, expulsion and migration processes analysis of the Paleozoic strata in the Kazimierza Wielka area, using Basin Mod 2-D petroleum modeling software. Results of collected geochemical analysis allowed to define effective source rocks in analyzed area: the Silurian strata, and the Devonian carbonate strata. The generation of hydrocarbons took place from the Late Devonian to Late Carboniferous time. The hydrocarbon expulsion was observed only from the Middle and Upper Devonian carbonates source rocks. The hydrocarbon generated from Devonian carbonates migrated through faults and was dissipated along the Carboniferous unconformity. This process lasted during whole Carboniferous period. In the Silurian strata the saturation (accumulation) of oil amounted from 0,02 m3/m3 rock to 0,035 m3/m3 rock while natural gas occurring in Silurian strata derived from cracking of oil and reached the maximum volume 0,0053 m3/m3 rock.
