    The aim of the present study was comparision of phisical and mechanical properities of the loess of Hebdow and Kazimierz Dolny region on the basis of own researches and values from export literature. The researches on probes were done in Geotechnic Laboratory on Geology, Geophysics and Environmental Protection on University of Science and Technology in Cracow. The results of researches proves general convergenses of physical and mechanical properities the loess. Those are dusty soils with low consistency and humidity and they are very sensitive to changes of humidity. Moreover, the loess are susceptible to subsidence and processes suffusion. Both Hebdow and Kazimierz Dolny region loess have unprofitable geotechnical conditions.
