    The subject of following dissertation is influence analysis of present and potential polutions on surface and groundwaters in the area of Dunajec and Biała Tarnowska rivers. Based on water extraction analysis in area of interest the level of polution is determined. Analysis results of water phisical and chemical composition are presented in tables with further interpretation. Furthermore work consists of surface and groundwaters intake presentation provided with use of available hydrocartographic documentation. Taking into consideration the results of water samples analysis provided by Tarnow’s waterwork institute, it can be stated that increased difference of chemical composition is present in intake Świerczków. Based on this materials it was determined that water extracted in remaining intakes fulfills criteria for consumption.
