Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe dissertation presents a process of 2D seismic data unification. The aim was to analyze an application and an influence of applied procedures for the quality of seismic profiles matching in the intersection points. Data from the north-eastern part of the outer Carpathian Foredeep are in use. The project was performed with the use of a Seismic Line Balance tool in a SeisVision program which is included in the GeoGraphix system of the LMKR company. It allows both, a work based on automatic calculations (Free Float, Reference Line(s)) and manual entry of misties’ values (Interactive Line Tie). The tutorial of used tool was created. It describes procedures and available options. The next important step was execution of modeling series on a group of selected seismic profiles. Best values of parameters and workflow were determined. The complications with technical parameters of well logging tools and special environment circumstances are discussed. Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThis M.Sc. thesis has described the issue of revising the measured well logs in order to increase the accuracy of interpretation. The most important measurement errors are associated with the presence of the borehole, mud, and the surrounding layers, which have a direct effect on the measured values. Discussed technical problems performing the measurement probe in the hole, and causing changes in the recorded parameters. In the work geological medium dependence on the measurement results was also discussed. In the theoretical analyzes among others correction nomograms used for specific probes. Some experimental work was conducted based on data from the Carpathian Foredeep. For this purpose, used the OpórWin application from Geowin system.
