Identyfikacja minerałów ilastych na podstawie spektrometrycznego profilowania gamma w wybranych otworach

The aim of this thesis was to identify the various clay minerals in selected stratigraphic horizons in boreholes: Jabłonna 2 and Jabłonna 3, located in the Sudetic Monocline and Cierpisz 2 and Cierpisz 3, located in the Carpathian Foredeep. Overlays in the application ?Cross Plot? in the GeoWin system were used in order to realize the aim. Also, Author was focused on the presentation of the results of shaliness calculation according to the following formulas: linear, Larionov, Clavier, Stieberg and Larionov for the younger rocks to show variability of shaliness in the selected depth intervals. Also, the statistical analyzes were performed on the results of GG log and GRS log and Potassium log, and Thorium log and Uranium log to investigate the changes in the level of natural radioactivity of rocks in the geological profiles of boreholes.

Magnez i wapń w wodach typu szczawy w Krynicy-Zdrój

Krynica-Zdrój położona jest w południowej części Polski na obszarze płaszczowiny magurskiej, w miejscu gdzie stykają się ze sobą dwie strefy facjalne: krynicka i bystrzycka. Występują tutaj głównie szczawy i wody kwasowęglowe strefy hipergenicznej położonej w płytkich partiach fliszu. Są to wody infiltracyjne do których systemem szczelin i nieciągłości dostaje się głębinowy CO2. Typ hydrochemiczny wód to zazwyczaj HCO3-Ca lub HCO3-Ca-Mg, a jony Ca2+, Mg2+, pochodzą z rozpuszczanych skał osadowych, oraz jako produkty wietrzenia skał magmowych. Wody, w których zawartość wspomnianych wcześniej pierwiastków przekracza próg farmakologiczny mają ogromne znaczenie w funkcjonowaniu organizmu człowieka, lecząc ponadto schorzenia układu krążenia oraz układu pokarmowego. Szczawy stosowane są w krenoterapii oraz w balneoterapii w ramach kąpieli leczniczych. Wykorzystywane są również na szeroką skalę w przemyśle rozlewniczym.

Polyglycol mud for drilling in clay and shales

Drilling a wellbore in formations containing water-sensitive shales can cause many serious technical problems. Especially mud which enable safe drilling in shales and clays formations must be characterized not only by features of standard modern mud, but also has to reduce water adsorption and thus hydration of clays and shales. This paper was prepared so as to present the results of laboratory investigation in which a glycol and ion - polymer fluid based on potassium salt was made. Obtained mud is characterized by high-temperature resistance, good rheological properties, low water loss and resistance to salt ions.
