Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Influence of annealing conditions on the properties and microstructure of steel composites(2014) Sulima, Iwona; Hyjek, Paweł; Tokarski, TomaszSamples made of AISI 316L stainless steel reinforced with 8 vol.% TiB2 particles were prepared using the high pressure-high temperature (HP-HT) method. Next, the composites were annealed at a temperature of 1200°C for different holding times. The influence of the annealing temperature and time on the properties and microstructure of AISI316L+8% vol.TiB2 composites was investigated. The structural studies showed the formation of phases containing chromium, molybdenum and boron.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Influence of closed-die hot compaction parameters on selected properties of PM Al-Si-Fe-Cu materials(2010) Wojtaszek, Marek; Dudek, PiotrThe work presents the results of investigations of the materials obtained by closed-die hot compaction of A117Si5Fe3Cu1.1Mg0.6Zr alloy powder. The influence of temperature and punch unit pressure on the shape of samples, as well as on relative density, selected mechanical properties and microstructure of obtained products, was estimated. The beneficial parameters of hot compaction were determined.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , O właściwościach gruntów mało spoistych zmieniających się w procesie konsolidacji na podstawie badań pasty gruntowej(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2008) Borowczak, PawełIncreasingly often, the construction industry is required to erect structures in areas which, until recently, have been avoided due to difficult conditions in which to build the foundation. The expansion of real estate in cities has limited investors' freedom to choose building locations, forcing them to erect structures also on low-strength soils. Organic soils are commonly considered low-strength. Mineral plastic and soft plastic cohesionless soils are also low-strength. The author believes that fully saturated cohesive soils with a plasticity index $I_{p} <$ pose greatest problems in the proper assessment of geotechnical parameters. In the Poznań area, these are unconsolidated Baltic glaciation moraine (ablation) tills. These are classified as silty sands (PN-EN ISO 14688-1:2006, PN-EN ISO 14688-2:2006). It is commonly known that weak soils subjected to static loads undergo consolidation, which leads to greater strength which results in greater subsoil strength. The article discusses the results of studies of the impact of consolidation on changes in plasticity and strength of soil paste prepared from ablation tills.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Właściwości elektryczne, termiczne i świetlne diod elektroluminescencyjnych LED(Data obrony: 2017-01-20) Klim, Sebastian

Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaIn this thesis presents the geological structure and lithological development of Devon’s formations that build anticline of Dębnik, which is surrounded by the deposit of dolomites „Dubie”. Quarry was also described and the way of exploitation of this mine. The types and varieties of dolomites founded during the field work were characterized during macro and microscopic research. Additionally, the analysis of the variability of their physicalmechanical parameters was made, determining their usability in road construction. The diversity of these properties was revealed and it was concluded that they are depended on the textural and structural formation and mineral composition of the respective types of dolomites. Opportunities of using this mine in road construction were examined based on the current norms. Furthermore, an issue of environmental protection around pit mining and it’s recultivation was discussed.
