    Ocena wpływu Rafinerii Nafty „Glimar” w Gorlicach na środowisko wodne

    The chief aim attributed to this thesis is the assessment of the influence of the Oil Rafinery „Glimar” in Gorlice on the environment of groundwater. The thesis shows the characteristics of the risks caused by refinery, objects with the negative influence on the groundwater. What is more, their localization has been indicated. The work presents the results of chemical analyses and research, as far as contents of heavy metals and oil-derivative substances are concerned, that the company was subjected to in 1996-2006. The analyses of the quality have been done with the consideration of the contents of the concentration of aliphatic and aromatic oil-derivative compounds. Those concentrations have been compared with permissible values under the Regulation in force (2006) as far as not only the requirements that must be maintained by introduction of sewage to the waters and the ground, but also concerning the substances extremely harmful to water enviroment. The work also presents the simplified evaluation of the quality condition of groundwater on the basis of chemical analysis of waters from P–1 and P–8 observation wells. Within the framework of scoring, the faint quality condition of the groundwater has been stated. In the region of refinery, areas with increased contents of oil-derivative substances were indicated – the biggest in the region of E–1 observation wells. Exceeding of border value derives from specificity of this refinery and the character of its prior manufacturing.
