Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe aim of the study was to examine the influence of the second metro line in Warsaw for the terrain deformation. The impact of existing underground line for the stability of the area around the tunnels has also been analyzed. In studies DInSAR method was used, which was used for a total of 15 SAR images. 7 scenes acquired from satellites TerraSAR-X and 4 of Radarsat-2. In the paper, some areas, for which there is a high probability of occurrence ground deformation, were found. These displacements were not caused by the impact of usage the I underground line or drilling of the II underground line’s tunnels.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Analysis of dynamic strains of suspension bridge on the example of pedestrian footbridge(2011) Ćwiąkała, Paweł; Kuras, Przemysław; Kuras, Olga MagdalenaArtykuł omawia podstawowe zasady działania nowoczesnego naziemnego radaru interferometrycznego, wchodzącego w skład systemu IBIS-S, oraz możliwości zastosowania go w pomiarach konstrukcji. System ten zapewnia wysoką dokładność, ciągłą rejestrację oraz jednoczesną obserwację wielu punktów, dzięki czemu znajduje zastosowanie do badania dynamiki obiektów. Artykuł prezentuje i omawia wyniki pomiarów drgań pionowych i skrętnych przeprowadzonych na kładce dla pieszych o konstrukcji wiszącej. Of is shown by an example of complete survey and data processing of a railway bridge.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Variations of Frequency Responses of a Cable-Stayed Bridge and Calculation of the Damping Coefficient of Selected Vibration Modes Based on the Data Recorded with Radar Systems(2013) Owerko, TomaszThe use of ground-based radar interferometry to measure bridge structures allows to obtain accurate information on the dynamic response of a structure to the applied excitation, even in the case of observing spans located above the water level. Under the current regulations, the acceptance process for new bridges includes dynamic testing. The study design most often includes loads of diverse forced vibrations. The presented publication shows how frequency responses of the tested span changes with respect to varied excitations, and how to gain information on the value of the damping coefficient on the basis of radar data.
