Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Land and buildings register data change as a result of construction process(2016) Pęska, Agnieszka; Benduch, PiotrEwidencja gruntów i budynków jest rejestrem publicznym zawierającym informacje o gruntach, budynkach i lokalach. Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Metoda segmentacji obrazów jąder komórkowych roślin w cytometrii DNA z heterogenicznym rozkładem wewnątrz jądra(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2006) Gocławski, Jarosław; Anioł, PatrykThe paper presents an algorithm of plant nuclei image segmentation preceding the procedure of DNA contents measurement. It is based on iterative multilevel thresholding of grey-level differential image, obtained by preliminary subtraction of components in RGB color space. The subtraction reduces non-stained background artifacts. Splitting of merged cell nuclei has been provided using shape-based watershed method referred to the distance transform of the objects. It has been shown, that multilevel thresholding plays a key role in the proper discrimination of nuclei profiles with highly nonuniform DNA distribution.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , On some dynamical reconstruction problems for a nonlinear system of the second-order(2010) Blizorukova, Marina; Maksimov, VyacheslavThe problem of reconstruction of unknown characteristics of a nonlinear system is considered. Solution algorithms stable with respect to the informational noise and computational errors are specified. These algorithms are based on the method of auxiliary positionally controlled models.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Polyhedral building model from airborne laser scanning data(2010) Borowiec, NataliaThis paper presents the semi-automatic method, which only uses ALS data to build a model of a building. This method focuses on modeling the roof, assuming that by knowing the shape of the roof and the digital presentation of the terrain, we could easily obtain the model of the whole building. A unique feature of this method is the sequential regular and irregular tesselations, which are used to obtain analyses of grid and tin. This method consists of three main steps. The first step is to execute the interpolation of lidar points to the grid and then indicate the places where buildings are most likely to be present. The region of interest (in this case, the buildings) is located on the grid using the easy grid analyses. The next step helps us to indicate the edge of a building's roof. Accurately detecting the edges is possible when using the original data but we are limited to the ROI indicated in the first step. The lines which define the roof edges were detected as a result of the TIN analysis. The edges of the building allow us to choose only those points which represent the roof out of the entire "cloud of points" and proceed to the next step. The third step consists of planes detection, in which we define the shape of the building's roof. The roof planes are detected using the split-merge method in which a LIDAR point cloud is organized and planes are extracted from each voxel. The planes are joined when parameters such as slope, azimuth and height are contained in the definition of boundary. The final step is exporting the building model to dxf format.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Reverse Engineering and Computer Modelling in Archaeometallurgy for the Reconstruction of Heritage Objects Using Precision Casting and 3D Printing(AGH University Press, 2025) Marlicka, Karolina; Fijołek, Andrzej; Garbacz-Klempka, Aldona; Piękoś, MarcinThis article presents an interdisciplinary approach to the reconstruction of a copper-alloy artefact using reverse engineering techniques combined with modern digital and manufacturing technologies. The research was motivated by the need to better understand historical casting techniques while preserving the integrity of cultural heritage objects through non-destructive methods. The study integrates 3D scanning, CAD-based modelling, numerical simulations, investment casting, and metal additive manufacturing. The geometry of the artefact was captured using high-resolution 3D scanning, enabling the development of two CAD models: one representing the preserved state of the object and a second reconstructed model with the missing fragment digitally restored. Both models were used for numerical simulations of mould filling, solidification, cooling, and porosity formation performed in MAGMASOFT® 6.1, allowing the assessment of technological feasibility and defect formation. Based on the simulation results, physical replicas were produced using investment casting and selective laser melting. The obtained numerical and experimental results were compared in terms of geometry reproduction, surface characteristics, and predicted versus observed casting behaviour. The study demonstrates that the combination of digital reconstruction, simulation tools, and experimental manufacturing provides a reliable framework for analysing historical metallurgical processes. The proposed methodology supports both scientific interpretation and the practical reconstruction of heritage objects and can be applied to a wide range of archaeometallurgical studies.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Techniczna analiza procesu rekonstrukcji otworów wiertniczych w celu pozyskania energii geotermalnej(Data obrony: 2016-10-07) Kołtonowska, Dominika
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaW pracy pt. „Techniczna analiza procesu rekonstrukcji otworów wiertniczych w celu pozyskania energii geotermalnej”, przedstawiono problemy natury technicznej, z jakimi najczęściej zmagają się ciepłownie geotermalne. Przeanalizowano dostępne metody rekonstrukcji i zabiegi profilaktyczne, które mogą przeciwdziałać niekorzystnym zjawiskom, tj. kolmatacja i korozja w instalacjach geotermalnych. Ponadto zaproponowano proces adaptacji archiwalnego odwiertu Koło IG-3 dla celów geotermalnych. Wieloetapowy cykl rekonstrukcji wymaga szczegółowego przygotowania prac wiertniczych, badawczych i pomiarowych, a także dużych nakładów inwestycyjnych. Przeprowadzona analiza finansowa prezentuje złożoność całego procesu wiercenia odwiertu geotermalnego.
