    Ocena potencjału macierzystości utworów dolomitu głównego w rejonie Grotów – Sieraków – Kaczlin

    The Main Dolomite deposits were formed within the vast Permian Basin, which covers a large part of the Polish Lowlands. These rocks are unique - they can exhibit properties of both the source rock and the reservoir rock. Discussed boreholes are situated within Grotów Peninsula, located in the northern part of the Gorzow Platform. On the basis of the parameters and indices obtained from the Rock-Eval pyrolysis, characteristics of organic matter were carried out in 7 boreholes: Grotów-1, Grotów-2, Grotów-5, Grotów-6, Sieraków-1, Sieraków-4 and Kaczlin-1. To determine the degree of thermal maturity were also used reflectance of vitrinite Ro. In addition for Grotów-2 borehole the hydrocarbon potential was calculated using the volumetric method.

    Refleksyjność witrynitu i typy kerogenu w profilach wierceń wschodniej części Karpat polskich

    The organic matter in the Krosno formation is represented by type-III kerogen whereas in the Menilite, Inoceramian and Spas shales it ranges from type-II to type-II + III. The vitrinite reflectance values determined for the Krosno and Menilite shales point out that the rocks are immature, while the Inoceramian and Spas shales indicate transformation degree corresponds with the oil window.
