Estymacja parametrów funkcji regresji metodą klasyczną oraz metodami bootstrapowymi

The paper presents description of methodology and analysis of non-classical bootstrap statistical methods application possibilities in regression function parameters estimation of mineral engineering processes. The review of applied methods of regression model parameters estimation was done. In purpose of initial checking of analysed methods, the evaluation of copper contents in feed influence on yield was made for technological results from O/ZWR Polkowice Region and Lubin. The estimation of regression function parameters estimation was done by classical method (Least Square Method) and by bootstrap methods. The comparative analysis of obtained estimation results of functional dependencies between analysed parameters for these methods.

Strong consistency of the local linear relative regression estimator for censored data

In this paper, we combine the local linear approach to the relative error regression estimation method to build a new estimator of the regression operator when the response variable is subject to random right censoring. We establish the uniform almost sure consistency with rate over a compact set of the proposed estimator. Numerical studies, firstly on simulated data, then on a real data set concerning the death times of kidney transplant patients, were conducted. These practical studies clearly show the superiority of the new estimator compared to competitive estimators.
