    The aim of this M. A. thesis was to create a photographic lens distortion model and write an application that allows to correction of the image. To create a distortion model I used a Camera Calibration Toolbox for Matlab to calibrate lenses. To write the application I used the Matlab language. The application has a simple graphical user interface that allows you to remove the distortion by using created earlier model of the lens. The application has been tested for suitability in the reproduction of maps.
