    The topic of this diploma thesis is cataloguing of civil engineering excavations in Kazimierz district in Cracow. After gathering archival documentations of the area their results were fully analyzed including the appearance of excavations, their type, depth and periods in which they were made. The range of gathered documentations and localization of excavations were showed on documentary maps. Because of limited number and availability of archival materials, part of the results should be treated approximately. Finally this diploma showed how important is to keep working on such a cases, to gather information about already done and future research excavations.
