Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Identifying undrained layers from mature gas reservoirs using reservoir simulation and high resolution geophysical investigations(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2019) Tătaru, Argentina; Simescu, Ana Maria; Balázs, SándorWhile big discoveries and major new developments deservedly grab the headlines, mature fields are the backbone of gas production. Revitalizing these fields extends their productive lives and offers significant opportunity to expand worldwide reserves. Regardless of the definition, mature fields are a huge resource. With reserves categorized as proved or probable, attempts to expand reserve levels come at a relatively low risk. Revitalizing a mature field means taking measures that increase the value extracted from the field beyond original expectation. Using specialized software brings new opportunities in reservoir simulation of mature gas reservoirs. Combining these simulations with high resolution geophysical investigations, will offer a other perspective about mature gas reservoirs as well as the identification of potentially gas bearing layers which in the first place were not been identified through logging, and in addition to a eventual growth of gas resources but also gas reserves that could be exploited. Identifying the thinest gas saturated layers, determine the modification of gas resources and reserves values. The increase of volumes is a result of larger production surfaces, larger net thicknesses and also larger porosity attributed to this zones. For mature gas reservoirs this kind of approach offers new perspectives.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Logistyka zaopatrzenia huty w wybrane surowce(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2005) Michlowicz, EdwardIn the paper presents problems of basic materials' delivery to an exemplary Polish steel plant. The materials have been delivered to Mital Steel Poland Plant's storage from Brasil, Ukraine, Russia and Poland. The problems concern delivery organization, selection of contractors and delivery and reserves prognosis.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Możliwości zagospodarowania peryferyjnych złóż rud cynkowo-ołowiowych na terenie Zakładów Górniczo-Hutniczych „Bolesław”(Data obrony: 2012-10-05) Barczyk, Ewa
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe thesis presents the localization, geology and lithology of lead-zinc deposits located in the northern and north-eastern part of the Upper Silesian Coal Basin. The research has been focused particularly on the Olkusz Area and the Olkusz-Pomorzany mine. Over the centuries the mine has been exploited with more or less success. Currently, the operation of the mine is coming to an end. Despite ongoing research with the application of modern geophysical methods, the mine is clearly „aging”. The reserves are increasing but the ore is getting scarce. The thesis presents actions aimed at prolonging the life of the mine for years to come. It focuses on the methodology and results of the geophysical exploiation research. The continuation of mining operations depends not only on the reserves but also on the current situation on the commodity markets.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Natural gas resources and reserves estimation study for the commercial field B(2008) Grigoraş, Ioan DanThe paper has the following targets: the fulfillment of the first natural gas resources and reserves estimation study for the commercial field B, initial geological resources and reserves evaluation and classification in order to be confirmed by N.A.M.R., existent gas resources optimum production scenarios, Discounted Cash Flow analysis.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Production and evaluation study for a natural gas field in the North - Eastern part of the Getic Depression(2011) Grigoraş, Ioan DanThe work targets, reference date 01.01.2007, are: - additional data analysis: to the study (1998) and confirmed at 01.01.2000 and to the last study at reference date 01.01.2005, - geological model update according to 3D seismic data interpretation performed at the beginnig of the year 2007, - resources and reserves reevaluation in order to be confirmed, - optimum production scenario set up, - discounted cash flow analysis.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Production and evaluation study for an oil with dissolved associated gas field in the Pannonian Depression(2012) Grigoraş, Ioan DanThe work targets are: - additional data analysis, - geological model update, - resources and reserves reevaluation in order to be confirmed, - optimum production scenario set up, - discounted cash flow analysis.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Regionalne zróżnicowanie krajowego rynku kruszyw naturalnych łamanych(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2010) Galos, KrzysztofThe paper presents detailed geographical structure of natural crushed aggregates production, on the background of development tendencies of domestic reserve base and production of such aggregates. Degree of intensification of aggregates' mining output and production, illustrated by average single mine output in each region and by tonnes of mining output per $km^{2}$, was evaluated. Significance of each voivodeship as producer of the main types of such aggregates, was presented. Finally, present and future importance of interregional trade of natural crushed aggregates was characterised.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Weryfikacja zasobów niezagospodarowanych złóż rud Zn-Pb obszaru górnośląskiego w świetle nowych zasad ich dokumentowania(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2009) Blajda, RenataConsidering the imminent exhaustion of Zn-Pb ore reserves at the currently operating mines, the reserves potential of undeveloped deposits was evaluated for both the Olkusz and the Zawiercie ore districts. In order to assess these reserves, new calculation principles and new estimation methods of assessment categories were prepared, consistent with the presumed, nest-like distribution model of economic-grade ores.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Wybrane problemy produkcji i wykorzystania węgla brunatnego(2007) Gawlik, Lidia; Grudziński, Zbigniew; Lorenz, UrszulaBrown coal and hard coal are two main fuels used from electricity production in Poland. Brown coal is produced in four regions: Adamów, Bełchatów, Konin and Turów. In last few years the coal production stabilized at the level of about 61 M tons. To keep the present production level after 2020 it is necessary to build coal mine for exploitation of the most attractive undeveloped deposit »Legnica«. In Poland brown coal is mainly used for electricity production. The prices of the electricity is presented in the paper. Also some data on emissions connected with electricity production from brown coal are given.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Wydobywanie zasobów surowcowych dna mórz i oceanów naczelnym zadaniem morskiej polityki gospodarczej państwa(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2011) Mazurkiewicz, BolesławThe paper is devoted to the requirements of the state maritime economical policy in relation to the offshore mining of the raw resources of the sea and ocean bottom. After a presentation concerning the future increase of number of people in the World, and the resulting power demand, are characterized the on the sea bottom and under the sea bottom reserves of hydrocarbons and other minerals. Further are presented the different permanent structures in the form of steel and concrete platforms, as well as different kinds of floating units, used for the exploration and mining of the existing and discovered reserves. It is stated that for a proper development of the maritime policy there exists a real chance to supplement the onshore reserves by mean of the offshore one. It is concluded that at the time being a serious intensification of the state activities in the direction of an increase of offshore mining is for our State urgently needed.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Дослідження характеру газоносності сланцевих товщ на території Європи(Data obrony: 2014-06-16) Karpyn, Yuliia
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaIn this master's thesis the were considered areas of gas shale sequences in Europe. The aim is to analyze the state of knowledge of the geological study and hydrocarbon potential of the low permeable sediments in Europe. Main objectives: to analyze the geological study and justify research directions of the hydrocarbon potential of the low permeable deposits, to explore the geological conditions of the formation and litological characteristics of the low permeable reservoir rocks, to explore and justify the perspectives of gas content of low permeable rocks in Europe.
