Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , A new »Emir« composite for the decolmatage of oil and gas layers after drilling and during deposit exploitation to increase the efficiency of hydrocarbon production(AGH University of Science and Technology Press, 2022) Gubič, Igor Bogdanovič; Krupskij, Ûrij Zinovʹevič; Pavlunʹ, Mikola Mikolajovič; Vitenko, Vasilʹ; Feìčuk, VitalijA new effective composite »Emir« has been created, which reduces the swelling of clay minerals and cleans the near-well zone of oil and gas-saturated layers from residues of drilling fluid, technical and formational water, resin-asphaltene components and paraffin, thereby restoring the efficiency of the well. The composite has high cleaning characteristics and the ability to foam in the presence of highly mineralized waters (up to 250 g/l), oil products and mineral acids. It also forms both straight and reverse mobile water-oil emulsions, which is important for cleaning oil layers. Based on the results of testing the »Emir« composite in production conditions on gas and oil wells, it was concluded that the use of »Emir« allows the discharge of hydrocarbon fluids to increase from 20% to 50% or more. The »Emir« composite can also be used on »low-flow« wells which have been clogged or eliminated for geological and technical reasons, this makes it possible to significantly increase the recoverable reserves of hydrocarbons in various oil and gas-bearing regions, especially taking into account the small volumes of drilling and the low success rate of searching for new oil and gas fields.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Effect of the near surface layer for the microseismic monitoring - 2D modelling(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2016) Pasternacki, Andrzej; Wandycz, Paweł; Maćkowski, TomaszMicroseismic monitoring is usually used to map hydraulic fracture or stress changes in the reservoir, which is stimulated (Maxwell et al. 2010, Duncan & Eisner 2010).Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Litofacje, procesy depozycyjne i własności zbiornikowe utworów eolicznych(Data obrony: 2015-02-17) Ligęza, Mateusz

For rehabilitation are selected from all the mature fields those which could additionally offer to the currently obtained basis production, a supplementary production, generated through interventions in reservoirs, wells or surface infrastructure. Although the opportunity of mature gas field rehabilitation is evident and unanimously accepted, the effective implementation of the concept represents a complex intervention. This fact is just due to natural gas reservoirs diversity, which involves developing particular models of rehabilitation, adapted to each reservoir capability. Conceptually, mature gas field rehabilitation can be divided in three sequences: reservoir, well, surface facilities. Intervention in one section or another, or concomitent intervention in all three sequences, is dictated by technical and economical reasons. Mature gas field rehabilitation must begin with main production problems identification that once recognized can be solved by remedial actions. Such corrective measures are commonly used in order to inerease the productivity of gas wells and removing restrietions on reservoir - well - surface facilities route.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Maximizing of condensate recovery ratio in Karachaganak using method of cycling process(2008) Žapbasbaev, Uzak K.; Jiyembayeva, Kalamkas; Turegeldiyeva, KarlygashKarachaganak is located in the northwest region of Kazakhstan and it is one of the world's largest oil and gas condensate fields. Covering an area of over 280 km2, it holds more than 1,200 million tones of oil and condensate and over 1.35 trillion cubic meters of gas. Karachaganak production originates deep underground in reservoir approximately 5,000 meters deep. The reservoir contains a vast quantity of oil, condensate, and gas all embedded in a porous rock structure. At these depths the earths crust exerts high pressures and as a result the hydrocarbons are literally squeezed out of the rock formations and are under very high pressure. Upon entering one of the process plants the oil and gas is initially separated into a gas stream and an oil stream. This separation can be achieved through both a gravity method and through temperature reduction of the fluids. Individual wells productions can also be directed to a test separator. This regular testing is needed to measure the rates at which a well is producing oil and gas, to determine whether it is producing any water, and to measure the pressure at which it is producing. All of these measurements enable the engineers to optimize the production from the field.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Methodology of the hydrocarbon pools prognosing by the complex of geophysical data(2008) Pilipišin, Boris; Havenzon, IrinaThe proposed methodology is worked out for the aims of oil and gas geology and can be used at investigation of terrigenous, terrigenous-carbonate and carbonate sections. It can also be used at prospecting and exploration of coal, ore, diamond deposits and underground water, as well as at the solving the tasks that need the detailed knowledge of the section structure (gas storages, slide dangerous zones etc.). The methodology includes the new methods and techniques of processing and interpretation of geophysical data. It is realized as a programme-methodical complex (PMC) 'Seismocyclit' and 'AFCM' - amplitude-frequency characteristic of medium, computed according to the noise constituent of wave field. It is based on the theory of sedimentary cyclicity - lithology (the teaching about rock-formations associations) and on the assumption of discompaction and compaction zones existence (the zones of reservoirs and cap rocks development). The uniting of the known geophysical methods and techniques, which were tested by time with the worked out by us techniques of processing and interpretation have led to creation of the new instrument for geological investigations. The advantages of our methodology in comparison with the commonly used methods consist in the possibility of obtaining the new qualitative data as to geological structure of the studied areas, which permit to carry out the forecast of hydrocarbons pools.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Monitoring osiadań zbiorników wyrównawczych na Wzgórzu Wandy w Katowicach spowodowanych działalnością górniczą(Data obrony: 2013-01-19) Buczek, Michał

The object of study in the work is the underground gas storages (UGS) of Western oil and gas region - Oparske, the productive horizons of which are characterized by considerable heterogeneity of reservoirs on the cut and the area. In the work contains information about the geological industrial features of the studied underground gas storage facilities. Developed the method of studying the geological heterogeneity of the reservoir and recommended its use for efficient operation of underground storage facilities. It was made the analysis of exploitation of gas deposits in the Oparske underground gas storage. It was analysed the impact of heterogeneity of collectors for technological exploitation of gas, and thus, the performance of wells and volume of active gas in UGS.
