    The purpose of the M.Sc. thesis was a determination of the reservoir parameters: porosity, permeability and water/hydrocarbon saturation on the basis of well logging data. Data from the Carpathian Foredeep were used. The quantitative interpretation of well logs was made using of the Interlog application of the GeoWin computer program. The results of the interpretation were put into graphical form of charts and tables and compared with the results of ULTRA program obtained by interpreter group of Geofizyka Kraków Ltd.
