Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Badania elektrooporowe dla potrzeb archeologicznych na terenie kompleksu dworsko-parkowego w Nowej Hucie Branicach(Data obrony: 2012-09-26) Figa, Magdalena
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe increasing popularity of geophysical methods for archaeological prospection stems from their non-invasiveness, and relatively low cost of research. This paper presents the results of using Geoelectrical methods, such as: Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) and penetration resistance profiling for the archaeological site in Branice (Poland). For the purpose of this research fives ERT profile were carried out and eighteen penetration resistance profiling positions to the depth of 1.5 m were studied. Additionally, the issue of ERT method resolution for selected models of archaeological objects was discussed.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Rozpoznanie metodami geoelektrycznymi płytkiej budowy geologicznej na terenie kompleksu dworsko-parkowego w Nowej Hucie Branicach(Data obrony: 2012-09-26) Florek, Monika
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaResearches carried out by geoelectrical method with the use of resistivity sounding and resistivity imaging have been done in the area of Museum of Archeology in Branice. The main aim of the thesis was to obtain the likely model of subsurface geological structure. The processed data have been analyzed and interpreted. Taking charts of resistivity sounding as an example, the phenomenon of equivalence has been discussed. From tomography data during the inversion process 2D subsurface resistivity distribution has been procured. Given results showed that geological structure was laminar, without sharp changes and high contrasts of resistivity.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Starorzecza - odwzorowanie w wynikach badań elektrooporowych - sondowań (VES) i tomografii (ERT)(Data obrony: 2017-07-18) Gurba, Michał
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaTematem pracy była analiza możliwości wykorzystania metod geoelektrycznych w badaniu starorzeczy. Skupiono się na czterech metodach geoelektrycznych: tomografii elektrooporowej (ERT), sondowaniu elektrooporowym (VES), profilowaniu elektrooporowym (EP) i penetracyjnym profilowaniu oporności (PPO). Przeprowadzono reinterpretację danych archiwalnych (badania metodą VES, EP i PPO) z rejony starorzecza Wisły w Zabierzowie Bocheńskim. Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Wpływ topografii terenu na wyniki badań metodą tomografii elektrooporowej – wybrane zagadnienia(Data obrony: 2011-07-25) Bania, Grzegorz
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe anomalies triggered by the diversified terrain can lead to a false interpretation of the field data, thus, it is extremely crucial to take into consideration the topography on the inversion level. The paper discusses some elements of the Electrical Resistivity Imaging, deformation of the DC electrical field as well as the changes of the array geometric factor that are caused by the presence of the varied topography. It was pointed out that those distortions can cause strong changes in the values of the measured apparent resistivities. With the aid of professional software, chosen situations showing that the landform features can point to the existence of false sub-surface structures or conceal the presence of the actual structures of diversified resistitive character were modeled. Moreover, the field study results were presented and the influence of topography on them was illustrated with the modeling.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Zastosowanie geofizycznych badań elektrooporowych w rozpoznaniu morfologii antropogenicznej na przykładzie zamku błogosławionej Salomei w Grodzisku pod Skałą (Małopolska)(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2006) Domogalla, Witold; Mościcki, Włodzimierz JerzyMonumental archaeological and landscape complex in Grodzisko is located within Ojcowski National Park (Małopolska province, South Poland). The complex was investigated historically and archaeologically in 60-ties and 90-ties of the XX century and lately in 2003. Results of geophysical research played an important role in planning archaeological excavations and analysis of historical events. The methods used were penetrometer-based resistivity profiling and DC resistivity imaging. The first method was used for recognition of different cultural accumulation layers within embankments of the courtyard. Resistivity imaging made along five lines located near historical church discovered distinct high-resistivity zones. These zones reflected the presence of underground fragments of historical walls confirmed later by the archaeological excavation works. Complex analysis of historical and archeological data leads to the opinion that discovered walls are remnants of the building of defense-residential character, probably one of the oldest examples of the »architectura militaris« on the area of Poland.
