    The article presents the scope of works taken up in PGE GiEK Oddział KWB Bełchatów in order to optimize the technical solutions for belt conveyors. Seeking new solutions is determined by the necessity of working costs reduction with the use of best solutions within the scope of: construction of roller sets and their suspensions, selection of the belt conveyors, construction of dumpings, solutions for cleaning the belts and the seals, drives and operations, belts conveyors routes with their supporting mechanisms.
