    Analiza występowania pułapek naftowych w stropie jury w rejonie Łoniowa – Porąbka Uszewska

    The thesis presents an analysis of the petroleum traps in the Upper Jurassic deposits of the central part of the Polish Carpathian Foreland region, particularly concentrating on the Łoniowa-Porąbka Uszewska area. It introduces different types of traps and ways of sealing them as well as the factors that influence the conditions of the accumulation. It has been demonstrated that, because of their significant facies diversity, carbonate deposits need to be discussed individually in each study area. Special attention has been given to the analysis of the seismic data that allows accurate locating of prospective traps, e.g. organic buildings, which increases the likelihood of discovering hydrocarbons. It also illustrates the effectiveness of the discussed methods with the aim of determining which of them prove to be the most adequate in the process of searching for the hydrocarbons in the Upper Jurassic deposits of the central part of the Polish Carpathian Foreland.
