In the considerations the homogeneous models with the zones of higher and lower values of velocity and attenuation as well as gradient media were taken into consideration. In the analysis of the effectiveness the centroidal frequencies of the signals observed in the receiver points and traveltimes generated for assumed models were used. The main attention was paid to the effect of starting velocity field on the results of tomographic inversion.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Analiza porównawcza efektywności tłumienia fali powierzchniowej za pomocą transformacji falkowej, transformacji Radona, filtracji pasmowej oraz filtracji F-K(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2010) Szymańska-Małysa, ŻanetaThe objective of the paper is to present the comparison analysis of the effectiveness of surface wave attenuation using wavelet transform, Radon transform, bandpass filter and F-K filter. Wavelet transform was performed in MATLAB computing environment. Radon transform, bandpass filter and F-K filter were realized in seismic data processing system ProMAX. The basic part of the paper is devoted to the analysis of surface wave attenuation by means of the wavelet transform treated as innovative tool of seismic data processing. In the analysis the common shot point gathers (seismic records) were used for the case of dynamite seismic. The influence of the wavelet transform parameters on the effectiveness of surface wave attenuation from seismic records wave images was defined. Driving of underground roadways leads to the appearance of a fractured zone around the excavated space. Separated and fractured roof rocks of underground roadways possess significant danger to the safety of people working in the mine. Knowledge of the thickness of the fractured zone is very important to the process of protecting roadways and particularly to determine conditions of roof bolting. A new way of use of a seismic method to estimate the parameters of fractured zones is described in this paper. The Love-type interference waves generated by hammer blows in roadway roof rock are discussed. The results of field measurements in a coal mine are presented.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Modelowanie trajektorii promieni i czasów przebiegu fal odbitych PP, SS i PS dla dyskretnego ośrodka poprzecznie izotropowego z nachyloną osią symetrii(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2009) Kasina, ZbigniewIn the presented paper the basic assumptions of the algorithm and program of seismic ray trajectories and travel times modelling are described for the case of reflected PP, SS and PS waves in the discrete anisotropic (transversely isotropic) medium with tilted symmetry axis. The ray trajectories and travel times in the discrete horizontally layered medium (VTI) and in the monoclinally dipping layers are defined by means of the numerical solution of the partial equations set resulting from the Fermat principle. The values of the velocities and Thomsen anisotropy parameters are defined in the nodes of the assumed, two dimensional grid. The K-L transform is realized with application the process Eigenimage Filter in seismic data processing system ProMAX. The basic part of the paper is directed to the analysis of multiples attenuation by means of the K-L transform applied to field data. In the analysis the common shot point gathers (seismic records) were used as well as the traces of the CDP gathers. In the case of CDP gathers the main attention was paid on the multiple attenuation in the averaged CDP gathers (supergathers) prepared for the interactive velocity analysis. The influence of the K-L filter parameters was defined on the effectiveness of multiples removing from the velocity analysis wave images. Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaIn the thesis the opportunity of seismic methods application (refraction method, MASW) in order to determine the physical parameters and seismic boundaries in the medium has been introduced. The relationships between seismic velocities, physical parameters and geotechnical classifications have been showed. The thesis discusses the higher effectiveness of the use of seismic methods in comparison to traditional geological surveys. Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaPraca dyplomowa przedstawia metody geofizyczne stosowane w poszukiwaniu złóż wód geotermalnych. Określenie zarówno geologicznego jak i geotermalnego modelu badanego obszaru jest kluczowym aspektem decydującym o powodzeniu inwestycji. Dzięki badaniom geofizycznym możliwe jest rozpoznanie parametrów złożowych i petrofizycznych skał oraz zbadanie budowy geologicznej obszaru. Celem projektu było zaprezentowanie możliwości najbardziej znanych metod geofizycznych stosowanych w geotermii oraz ich wykorzystanie w polskiej oraz światowej prospekcji. W pracy przedstawiono poszczególne metody oraz konkretne przykłady ich wykorzystania.
