Możliwości obliczenia wolumenu gęstości z danych sejsmicznych 3D (inwersja symultaniczna)

The aim of my Master of Science thesis was to present possibilities of density calculation by simultaneous inversion method. The data were taken from Brody’s 3D area seismic image. The main geological task was to determination course of the border range of Rotliegend sandstones, determination and distribution of porosity in the Rotliegend and Main Dolomite formation, indication gas- saturated reservoir and potential gas zone. The result of inversion and created maps of porosity, sanding up and water saturation for Rotliegend formation allowed indicate five prospective zones in examined area. Additionally many crossplots combinations have been done. The crossplots involve parameter of density appeared to be very well as provided the most accurate information.

Możliwości zastosowania metod inwersji sejsmicznej i AVO dla poszukiwań gazu z węgla

Celem pracy jest omówienie zagadnienia analizy zmian amplitudy z odległością od punktu wzbudzenia w kontekście rozpoznania niekonwencjonalnych złóż gazu. Obiektami analiz są pokłady węgla nienaruszone eksploatacją, z których wydobywanym surowcem energetycznym jest metan. Dane przedstawione w niniejszej pracy pochodzą z obszaru południowo – wschodniej części Niecki Górnośląskiej. W rozdziale poprzedzającym część interpretacyjną zawarte zostały informacje dotyczące zasobów gazu skumulowanego w pokładach węgla oraz o sposobie jego ekstrakcji. Opisany został charakter zachowania się złóż gazu z węgla w kontekście pomiarów wykonanych metodą sejsmiczną. Prace interpretacyjne obejmowały przeprowadzenie rekursywnej inwersji sejsmicznej na danych po procesie sumowania, oraz inwersji symultanicznej i związanych z nią analiz na danych przed sumowaniem. Wszystkie analizy wykonano przy użyciu oprogramowania Hampson – Russell.

Ocena parametrów petrofizycznych skał miocenu w oparciu o wyniki inwersji symultanicznej

The aim of Master thesis was to obtain petrophysical parameters utilizing the method of pre-stack inversion (the simultaneous inversion). It was necessary to confirm effectiveness of the LMR method in hydrocarbon prospecting and to suggest new perspective zones. Pre-stack seismic data from Gora Ropczycka - Iwierzyce 3D project was the base of inversion. Obtained results in the form of attribute sections and time slices allowed to identify pay zones in more certain way than using traditional methods.

Problematyka impedancji symultanicznej na Monoklinie Przedsudeckiej

The aim of M.Sc. thesis was to present problem simultaneous impedance of Monoklina Przedsudecka. Symultaneous impedance is result of simultaneous inversion. It was performed to identify of Rotliegend sandstones in the ,,Brody’’. Its task was to determine the porosity Rotlienged and Main Dolomite formation, indicating gas-saturated reservoir and potential gas zone. The results of simultaneous inversion are P wave impedance, S wave impedance and density. Our aim was to get to know basic software used in calculating data, parameterization data needed to applied in simultaneous inversion and problematic interpretation data. When analyzing the results of many maps, blueprints and Crossplots were produce. They provide valuable information and relationships between inwersion results.

The aim of the MSc Thesis was to conduct a seismic interpretation using well logs, rock physics models, analyzing cross plots and statistical methods (PDF's) that were used to deliver probability volumes of predicted lithology. The subject of the study were well log data and pre-stack seismic data from Yttergryta (Norwegian Sea) gas deposit. The results obtained from pre-stack inversion and volumes of most probable facies provided an opportunity to confirm the occurrence of gas accumulation at the well location and in neighboring areas. Results confirms the thesis that the simultaneous use of multiple tools to conduct quantitative seismic interpretation allows to obtain much better results than the conventional approach.
