Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe aim of this paper is to present the results of simulation of exploitation process on example of natural gas field “Załęcze. That structure is situated in Upper Rotliegend deposits, in the south- eastern part of the Fore-Sudetic Monocline. The output model for the realization was the tree-dimensional geological model, which included: effective porosity, permeability and Net to Gross ratio - expressing part of reservoir rock to whole productive interval. Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe following paper discusses the potential of Petrel Software in geological modelling. The procedure of creating static three-dimensional model of deep aquiferous layers of Carboniferous in Lublin region is presented in respect to petrophysical parameters. The parameters’ value enable the process of carbon dioxide sequestration. There are described the geological conditions of the chosen region particularly Carboniferous formation. The term of carbon dioxide sequestration is explained. The obtained data and its compilation encourage to create the spatial, computer model using Petrel Software 2011. Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe aim of this thesis is to present various ways of using the software of Schlumberger company, exactly program Petrel 2010 and to recalculate the geological and recoverable resources in the Upper Rotliegend deposits of Zalecze gas field. This structure is located in the south-eastern part of the Fore-Sudetic Monocline. In thesis the methodologies of creation the tree-dimensional geological model based upon the mathematical modeling of petrophysical parameters were described. The reservoir resources were also recalculated by using the analytical method and compared with the results generated by the program. The stratigraphy, tectonics of the reservoir area and short characterization of the Upper Rotligend deposits were specified.
