Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe aim of this thesis is to adapt the effect of Coulomb static stress transfer caused by coseismic slip of tremor to examine mutual dependences among tremors induced by mining in Rudna mine situated in Legnica – Głogów Cooper District. Calculations are based on data that describe 730 tremors, occurred in the period from 1993 to 2006, with range of energies from 103 to 109 J. The impact of static changes of stress, caused by the earliest events, on process of triggering new ones was examined. The results of analysis show that the static stress changes caused by the previous seismic activity can influence occurrences of the future seismic events. The localizations of 50% of seismic events was related with areas, where positive changes of Coulomb stress achieved value of minimum 0.001 Bar. In the present work the range of the influence of static stress changes on the future seismicity was studied using the distance and time window that is the radius and time period of the cumulative Coulomb stress changes caused by the previous seismic events occurred during this period and within the defined radius. For the analyzed set of tremors the best agreement between the location of seismic events and stress increased areas was achieved for the time window 30 days. Studies also shown that the correlation between the stress changes and the future seismic events is insensitive to the friction coefficient assumed in modeling.
