    Środowiskowa ocena nowej instalacji odsiarczania spalin w Elektrowni Skawina S.A.

    The thesis presents the effectiveness of installing a desulphurization system in the conventional power station Elektrownia Skawina S. A.. There is described the influence the power station has on the environment as well as the procedures implemented to adjust the plant to new legal provisions. In order to evaluate the desulphurization system there have been compared the dustfall, SO2, HCl and HF between 2007 and 2009, that is before and after its installation. The analysis of the fumes concentration and emission proves that during the described period the negative influence of the plant on the environment has greatly diminished. The Elektrownia Skawina S. A. power station continues to implement all exhaust fumes emission norms in compliance with the Integrated Pollution Control Licence. The thesis also presents the results of analyzing wastes with 10 01 05 code, which are created during the exploitation. It complies with the Department of the Environment regulations (Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland , No 49, item 356) and is fully respected in mining. The desulphurization system doesn't have any negative influence on the nearby acoustic protection area.
