Wydział Elektrotechniki, Automatyki, Informatyki i ElektronikiParadygmat obliczeń agentowo-ewolucyjnych (ang. Evolutionary Multi-Agent System) - EMAS) to model obliczeniowy będący możliwie pełną analogią do procesów (ewolucyjnych) obserwowanych w naturze. Zasadniczy obszar rozważań podjętych w rozprawie dotyczy możliwości zastosowania tego podejścia do budowy efektywnych technik polioptymalizacji. W ramach prowadzonych prac zaproponowano kilka wariantów agentowo-ewolucyjnych technik polioptymalizacji, w tym omawiane szczegółowo w pracy to: elitarny system agentowo-ewolucyjny optymalizacji wielokryterialnej - elEMAS oraz system agentowo-ewolucyjny do optymalizacji wielokryterialnej z ograniczeniami - conEMAS. Efektywność zaproponowanych technik obliczeniowych zweryfikowana została w toku licznych eksperymentów prowadzonych z wykorzystaniem zadań polooptymalizacji o zróżnicowanej charakterystyce. Wydział Elektrotechniki, Automatyki, Informatyki i ElektronikiMobile robots applications are one of the most promising challanges of modern technical sciences. One of important issues in this domain is development of design patterns for complex information systems for heterogeneous mobile robots group management. The aim of this thesis is to prove, that a methodology of creation multiagent systems for mobile robots group management, based on logical separation of software agent and hardware robot and use of many different models of environment, makes it possible to design a system, which ensures scalability, extensibility, durability and reusability of code. Separation of software agent and hardware robot is used for defining a space for agents, which is logically independent on hardware robots used by the system. This approach makes it possible to achieve desirable non-functional requirements. Many of existing solutions of problems connected to use of mobile robots has high, nonlinear computational complexity, which limits the maximum size of multirobot systems. Proposed multimodel approach can be sa solution to the scalability problem. The approach is based on simultaneous use of several models of the same aspect of the system, on different levels of abstraction. Proposed approach has been used for designing a system, which uses mobile robots to fulfill abstract tasks. Wydział Elektrotechniki, Automatyki, Informatyki i ElektronikiIn the presented thesis an immune-based selection mechanism in evolutionary multi-agent system (EMAS) is proposed. The purpose of this mechanism is to remove the low-fitness solutions in the early stage of evolution process. The proposed approach seems to be best suited for solving problems which demand significant effort for computation of individual's fitness, e.g. reverse problems or evolution of neural network parameters. The thesis consists of short state-of-the-art review in the field of optimization heuristics. Then the concept and formal model of the proposed approach is presented. Experimental results acquired for system applied to optimization of benchmark function follow. Also the preliminary results of neural network parameters optimization are discussed. The presented results confirm that the introduction of immunological selection lowers the computation cost of EMAS.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Optimization of simulation model parameters for solidification of metals with use of agent-based evolutionary algorithm(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2008) Kluska-Nawarecka, Stanisława; Smolarek-Grzyb, Agnieszka; Byrski, Aleksander; Wilk-Kołodziejczyk, DorotaThe finite elements method (FEM) is currently widely used for simulation of thermal processes. However, one of still unresolved problems remains proper selection of mathematical model parameters for these processes. As far as modelling of cooling casts in forms is concerned, particular difficulties appear while estimating values of numerous coefficients such as: heat transport coefficient between metal and form, specific heat, metal and form heat conduction coefficient, metal and form density. Coefficients mentioned above depend not only on materials properties but also on temperature. In the paper the idea of optimalization of simulation method parameters based on adaptive adjustment of curve representing simulation result and result obtained in physical experiment is presented along with the idea of evolutionary and agent-based evolutionary optimization system designed to conduct such optimizations. Wydział Elektrotechniki, Automatyki, Informatyki i ElektronikiThe subject of this research is the problems of dynamic, complex systems modeling, in which several processes proceeds at the same time and in the common environment. The essence of the proposed modeling method lies in mapping elementary processes and their interactions, leading to achieving summary effects, that result from concurrent realization of these processes. The suggested idea is based on using the agent approach, where individual agents conduct elementary component actions, giving a result in complex processes occurring in virtual world, represented by this model. The purpose of this work is proving that such approach enables approximate but adequate mapping of the real phenomena, and in consequence predicting their course and introduction of correcting actions (control). The domain of the phenomena being analyzed is thermal processes with a special consideration of the phenomena which appear during cooling and solidification of metal castings. Wydział Elektrotechniki, Automatyki, Informatyki i ElektronikiThe above dissertation proves the thesis that using formal methods of specification and verification lets to create correct multi-agent systems. The thesis formulated domains that can currently be analysed using formal methods such as environment, resources, communication, operation, functional integration and those which are beyond formal specification and verification. The analysis let to design and implement an automatic tool that can be used to specify and verify such systems. The tool uses join-calculus algebra and model checking using CTL temporal logic to prove correctness. The thesis contains description of the design, implementation and examples of using the tool.
