Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , A crisis management approach to mission survivability in computational multi-agent systems(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2010) Byrski, Aleksander; Kisiel-Dorohinicki, Marek; Carvalho, MarcoIn this paper we present a biologically-inspired approach for mission survivability (considered as the capability of fulfilling a task such as computation) that allows the system to be aware of the possible threats or crises that may arise. This approach uses the notion of resources used by living organisms to control their populations. We present the concept of energetic selection in agent-based evolutionary systems as well as the means to manipulate the configuration of the computation according to the crises or user's specific demands.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Agentowy model systemu logistycznego(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2009) Nawarecki, Edward; Koźlak, JarosławIn the paper a concept of methodology fot development of Multi-agent systems for modelling and optimising supply chains is presented. The example of a pilot realisation of the system and examples of experimental results are shown.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Koncepcja holonicznego systemu do zarządzania łańcuchami dostaw(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2011) Koźlak, Jarosław; Żabińska-Rakoczy, MałgorzataIn the paper, the concept of a holonic multi-agent system for modelling and optimising market strategies for a company and management of supply chains is presented. The measures which describe the situation of the company in the market, used for the choice of activity strategies, and especially decisions of assigning long-term contracts and holon formation consisting of cooperated companies are discussed.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Koncepcja zastosowania podejścia agentowego w systemach SOA(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2009) Cetnarowicz, Krzysztof; Dyduch, Tadeusz; Koźlak, Jarosław; Żabińska-Rakoczy, MałgorzataIn the paper, an overview of the research domain as well as tools related to development of SOA systems based on automatic composition of Web Services is presented. The concept of applying multi-agent approach in such systems and a project of its architecture are given. The domains of implemented pilot realisations are shown.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Learning strategies in multi-agent systems(Data obrony: 2020-09-29) Boligłowa, Jakub

The system for modelling supply chains takes into consideration auctions led among contractors and prestige parameter which describes the relationships among the pairs of companies. The system for modelling city traffic is based on the concept of cellular automaton and an algorithm of rotating discs responsible for the traffic lights configuration.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Propozycja wysokoskalowalnej metody replikacji danych Theta dla rozproszonych systemów transakcyjnych(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2011) Kasper, Mirosław; Dobrowolski, GrzegorzThe aim of this paper is a proposition of the new replication method for distributed systems with large number of nodes, which is suitable for systems in which demand on high level of scalability is a key issue. The approach is designed for systems working in heterogeneous environments with various platforms, operating systems or database vendors. The article contains presentation of Theta method, description of the communication layer and system components, and presentation of transaction management for the proposed method.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Rozwiązywanie problemów transportowych wykorzystujące metody identyfikacji wzorców sytuacyjnych(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2011) Koźlak, Jarosław; Pisarski, Sebastian; Żabińska-Rakoczy, MałgorzataThe goal of the work is to design algorithms to solve transportation problem - pickup and delivery problem with time windows. The import element of the solution is to calculate measures which describe the current situation from the point of view of vehicle position as well as the spatial and temporal locations of transportation requests and the choice of the suitable version and configuration of the optimisation algorithm taking into consideration values of these measures. It makes it possible to use the algorithm which offers the best solution for the given kind of the data and to limit the computation time.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Rozwiązywanie problemów transportowych za pomocą agentów(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2009) Koźlak, Jarosław; Żabińska-Rakoczy, MałgorzataIn the paper, the system based on the concept of holons, which solves transportation problems has been presented. The proposed system has enabled to compare the quality of solutions offered by classic algorithms for widely known and applied test problems. These problems have been modified to take into consideration potential crisis situations as well as possibilities given by the use of holonic approach.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Środowisko agentowe w syntaktycznym rozpoznawaniu obrazów(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2010) Sędziwy, AdamA computational complexity of parsing is the major limitation of syntactic pattern recognition methods applicability. That complexity may be decreased only by using grammars having weaker expressive power. ETPL(k) graph grammars, having quadratic complexity, are a compromise between complexity and descriptive power. For problems having large sizes however it's necessary to parallelize computations by distributing them over a multiagent system. Effectiveness of a system may be additionally boosted by even knowledge distribution enabling a balanced workload of agents. The knowledge consists of given subgraphs and grammar productions.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , System agentowy do monitorowania komputerów w sieci heterogenicznej(Data obrony: 2014-09-30) Śliwa, Mateusz
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe purpose of this study is an overview of Agent Systems working in heterogenous environment. Agent System is an example of an approach used in distributed programming that focuses on specific task assignment and task execution by certain parts of a program (e.g. agent autonomy). The subjects of this study covers: the basics of distributed programming and agent systems, examples of technologies which can be used to implement agent system with a focus on future use in heterogenous environment. During the study, an agent program was implemented for monitoring performance of a computers within a network, using Java RMI technology (communication) and using Sigar (data collection) and AmCharts (data display) libraries. This program, representing main subject of a study, can be applied into distributed computing systems as a major optimization aid.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Sytuacje kryzysowe w systemach agentowych(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2005) Dobrowolski, Grzegorz; Nawarecki, EdwardPrzedstawiono formalizację opisu agenta i systemu agentowego, która może posłużyć do analizy działania systemu w warunkach sytuacji kryzysowych. Proponowane podejście umożliwia m.in. sprecyzowanie zadań systemu monitorującego działania systemu podmiotowego, a następnie stworzenie modelu symulującego jego działania w określonych sytuacjach kryzysowych. To z kolei pozwala na poszukiwanie strategii przeciwdziałania kryzysom lub przynajmniej - ograniczających ich skutki.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Wykorzystanie sekwencji antysymetrycznych w rozwiązywaniu problemu LABS(Data obrony: 2019-09-27) Strojewska, Agata
