    In this paper the method of calculating contract press-Jit, based on thermal balance was presented. It was indica-ted that in certain conditions, stresses during assembling contract press-Jit are much higher than after mounting. Proposed calculation method determines, with high accuracy the maximum value of these stresses. Correctness of presented method was verified by numerical analysis.
