Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Adaptacyjny układ regulacji z predyktorem Smitha z możliwością zastosowania w systemach rozproszonych(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2008) Tutaj, AndrzejThe paper describes an adaptive control system for a linear finite-dimensional and asymptotically stable SISO plant with a slowly changing delay time at the input or output. The estimate of a dead time obtained by a continuous identification is used in a delay line, which is a part of a Smith predictor. Use of the adaptation enlarges the stability region and increases the performance of a system. The described setup can be used for distributed control systems where delays are introduced by the communication network. This approach succeeds if delays in the network vary slowly with time.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Implementacja specjalnych algorytmów regulacji ciągłej na platformie »soft PLC« zrealizowanej na komputerze PC(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2007) Oprzędkiewicz, KrzysztofIn the paper problems of implementation of special control algorithms: Smith's Predictor, cancellation controller and finite- dimensional discrete dynamic compensator at the PC-based »soft PLC« platform are discussed. The implementation was realized with SIEMENS hardware and software use. In the paper a piece of elementary information about an experimental heat control plant and tested control algorithms were remembered, an architecture of a control system and results of tests covering real-time requirements meeting are also presented.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Realizacja predyktora Smitha na platformie sprzętowo-programowej »soft PLC« bazującej na komputerze klasy PC(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2006) Oprzędkiewicz, KrzysztofIn the paper problems of practical implementation a special control algorithm »Smith's predictor« were presented. The control system was implemented onto PC - based »soft PLC« platform. A basis version of »soft PLC« system (without real-time kernel) was used. In the paper the hardware and software platform to the task realization were shown, results of experimental tests of real-time requirement during considered control algorithm are also presented. The main conclusion from the paper is that the tested »soft PLC« system implemented with basic version of software assures keeping the longest cycle time of a controller fully responsible for a wide class of industrial control tasks.
