    Zawartość $Cu$ i $Zn$ w glebach przy głównych szlakach komunikacyjnych na przykładzie al. 3 Maja w Krakowie

    The dissertation presents the research results of $Cu$ and $Zn$ in soils collected in Cracow along 3 May Alley and in Cracow Błonia. The main aim was to demonstrate the impact of car and tram transportation on the soil environment. On the basis of the analyzes the significant effects of road dust on soil quality have been found. The content of the elements in the study area along the avenue was: $Cu$ – 32 to 53 mg/kg, $Zn$ - 152 to 176 mg/kg. It was also shown that the highest concentration of the heavy metals was in the fraction of soil smaller than 200 ?m. The samples taken near the street (about 1 m), in comparison to soil taken from Błonia (50 m from the street), were characterized by significant contamination. $Cu$ from transport accounted for about 50% of the total content of the element in the soil. In case of $Zn$ it was more than 20%. Concentrations of $Cu$ and $Zn$ did not exceed the limit values for heavy metals in soil groups B and C contained in the “Rozporządzenie Ministra Środowiska w sprawie standardów jakości gleby oraz standardów jakości ziemi” (Dz.U. 2002 nr 165 poz. 1359 z dn. 04.10.2002r.).
