    This paper presents the geological and hydrogeological conditions that occur in the Old Town of Krakow. For this purpose the publications and research conducted in the area in previous years. Based on data of profiles created fifteen wells. The aim was to better imaging of geological strata and aquifers present in the ground water table to determine the position and depth of the well. The paper presents also two specific sections of the Quaternary aquifer running from north to south and from east to west. Also set water chemistry of the Old Town, established their nature, utility and utilization.
