Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Application of electrical capacitance tomography system for non-invasive phases distribution detection in gas-liquid mixtures(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2010) Fidos, Henryk; Wajman, Radosław; Banasiak, Robert; Sowiński, Jarosław; Sankowski, DominikThe aim of this paper is to show the capabilities of the Electrical Capacitance Tomography (ECT) system as a technique for real-time three-dimensional examination of the parameters of the two phase flow structure. The main advantages of the ECT method over other techniques is a fact that this is a non-invasive, non-intrusive and, in addition, a very fast technique for investigation of the distribution of any dielectric materials. The ECT image provides the information about the flow fraction profile. Due to the high speed of ECT measurements it is possible to find out the velocity profile and mass flow rate.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Dwufazowy przepływ powietrza i wody w pionowych wyrobiskach górniczych(2008) Branny, Marian; Filek, Krzysztof; Nowak, Bernard; Ptaszyński, BogusławThe article describes examples of two-phase flows in mining excavations and its impact on ventilation systems. Author discusses some of flows features, parameters and its theoretical models. The article presents computational model of two-phase flows in vertical expiratory shaft, using Euler-Lagrange's method. Numerical simulations were performed with the discrete phase model implemented using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software- Fluent. Calculations results presented in the form of graphs are enclosed.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Obliczenie strat w przepływie płynu dwufazowego przez zawór(Data obrony: 2018-01-31) Morzyk, Filip

Knowledge of the effect of wettability on oil production is also a key point for understanding the behavior of multiphase flows in the reservoir. A literature review indicates that wettability is one of the main factors controlling and regulating the distribution of oil and water in the reservoir rock. Therefore, the resolution of problems associated with the calculation of oil resources, operation and analysis of core deposits, must take into account the wettability of rock. Therefore, the study of such phenomena as wettability is still valid today. In the paper reservoir rock wettability and its types were described. Direct and indirect methods of determining the wettability were characterized, the graph of capillary pressure is used to characterize the wettability. In order to determine the effect of wettability on multiphase flow in porous media are discussed petrophysical parameters: capillary pressure, relative permeability and hydrocarbon saturation of the rock. Characterized wettability of each of the porous medium of carbonate and sandstone reservoirs.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Wpływ parametrów ustalonego przepływu dwufazowego w szybie wentylacyjnym na parametry pracy wentylatora głównego(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2009) Branny, Marian; Nowak, Bernard; Ptaszyński, Bogusław; Kuczera, Zbigniew; Łuczak, Rafał; Życzkowski, PiotrThe two-phase flow, in which a continuous phase is moist air and a discrete phase is water, occurs frequently in the ventilating shafts. Flow of discrete phase, often bidirectional, can cause a change of direction of air flow in the shaft, in spite of function a main fan. In the article, the results of numerical research of influence of the two-phase steady flow in the upcast shaft on the parameters of main fan are described.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Wpływ profilu prędkości powietrza na parametry przepływu dwufazowego w szybie wentylacyjnym(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2010) Branny, Marian; Nowak, Bernard; Ptaszyński, Bogusław; Kuczera, Zbigniew; Łuczak, Rafał; Życzkowski, PiotrSeveral inflows of water beyond shaft brickwork occur frequently on the length of the upcast shaft. The article describes the results of influence of air velocity profile on the parameters of two-phase flow in the upcast shaft for accepting constant discharge of water flows to the cross-section of shaft with water drops diameter: 0,5 mm, 1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Wpływ źródeł ciepła i wilgoci na stan zamglonego powietrza w podziemnych górniczych wyrobiskach korytarzowych(2008) Nowak, Bernard; Filek, Krzysztof; Ptaszyński, BogusławIn the article, a matter of haze air flow through horizontal dog heading is discussed. Equations of mathematical description of change the thermodynamic air parameters on the way of flow are given. In this case, appearance of different heat and moisture sources in the heading are taken into account. It was accepted that air can contain a moisture in form of water vapour and fog. For illustrating the discussed problems, the numerical examples for four variants of dates were solved. The results are presented in form of diagram of air temperature variation, its specific and relative humidity and contents of fog in function of running coordinate along the heading axis.
