Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Geological mapping of the area of Thies-Taiba zone in Senegal based on remotely sensed images(Data obrony: 2017-09-29) Putowska, Alicja
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe thesis below covers process of geological mapping using spectral images of the Landsat 8 satellite. The research area is located in Senegal, in the north-western part of the African continent encompasses by the tropical climate. The research technique focuses on the processing of images from particular spectral channels and their interpretation based on known reflectivity characteristics of particular objects, rocks and minerals. The final stage of image processing is the classification of individual pixels into groups representing land coverings, including geological divisions.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Rozpoznanie budowy geologicznej na podstawie analizy zdjęć satelitarnych (studium prowincji Xienghuang w Laosie)(Data obrony: 2011-07-07) Kowaliczek, Dagmara
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThesis is based on the analysis of remote sensing, multispectral satellite images from Landsat ETM+ and analysis of digital elevation model from ASTER satellite. Pictures were series of mathematical operations and activities, the result of which are teledetection maps showing the occurrence of vegetation, rock outcrop and anthropogenic land. The results have been likened to geological and topographic maps to verify their compliance. The resulting maps show a compatibility with the base. Thesis also presents enormous prospects for expansions to map and analyze the presented methodsItem type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Teledetekcyjne kartowanie litologiczne Parku Narodowego Death Valley (USA)(Data obrony: 2017-10-06) Piecuch, Monika
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaCelem pracy było stworzenie litologicznej mapy geologicznej fragmentu Parku Narodowego Death Valley zwanego Telescope Peak Quadrangle w Stanach Zjednoczonych.
