    This thesis is about the anisotropy of electrical resistivity of rocks and electrical anisotropy parameters, i.e., horizontal resistivity (Rh), vertical resistivity (Rv) and anisotropy coefficient in the sandyshaly formation. In this paper, it is shown how to combine laterologs and induction logs and how these anisotropy parameters are determined to resolve the coefficient of anisotropy of a sandyshaly formation.
