    The thesis presents complex review of municipal and industrial waste processing into Refuse Derived Fuel. This fuel is used as additive to fossil fuels in cement furnaces. Besides technology methods the thesis explains physical and chemical features, that product must meet. Basic criteria and obstacles for waste processing has been highlighted. Particular attention is given to waste management during sorting process. In summary thesis defines environmental impact of given technology.
