    Main purpose of this thesis is to present in detail the procedures of wavelet processing. Introduction to theoretical issues contains the idea of wavelet processing and also its meaning in the seismic data processing. Many methods of estimating the wavelet were presented with their analysis and effectivity comparison. The ProMax™ and OMEGA™ systems environments were introduced, which are used to seismic data processing. The procedures of the wavelet processing and their parameters were discussed . The presented thesis contains widely discussed analysis of the results of the wavelet processing procedures in OMEGA™ system applied to field data. The effects of the main discussed procedures including wavelet extraction, evaluating autocorrelation dephasing were described. Also the procedure of seismic data matching with its detailed analysis .and presentation of the obtained results was applied.
