Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , An innovative CA-190 monorail battery locomotive powered by a VOLTER lithium battery(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2021) Budniok, Tomasz; Konsek, Rafał; Krakowczyk, Bernard; Tor, Andrzej; Zasadni, Wojciech; Żyrek, LeszekThe article describes the CA-190 battery locomotive powered by a VOLTER lithium battery, intended for the suspended transport of machine parts, materials and people. The CA-190 battery locomotive with a VOLTER lithium battery is an innovative construction tailored to the current development trends in transport in the global mining industry. Having its own power source eliminates the use of electrical power cables or hydraulic hoses which typically limit the use of locomotives. The method of charging the battery directly from the mine's power grid with a three-phase voltage of 500 V, 1000 V during standstill is an innovative solution. The use of batteries as a source of energy reduces the negative impact on the mine environment due to the elimination of exhaust emissions and significant reduction of noise and heat. The implementation of CA-190 locomotives results in increased efficiency of works and improves the safety of personnel and work ergonomics.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Badania mostka do rurowania(2008) Bednarz, Stanisław; Artymiuk, JanSome operations accompanying drilling procedure require performing activities on the mast or rig, high above the floor. Work safety reasons dictated working out bridges with mobile platform over the floor. Depending on the length of the casing pipes, location of mud head and Kelly, the height of the platform can be regulated. The design of the bridge, results of applicability and load test results were discussed in the paper. The positive results enabled introducing a given bridge type to exploitation.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Bezpieczeństwo pracy na stanowiskach zagrożonych wybuchem gazu(2008) Wilk, Stanisław; Galas, Marek; Cwenar, RyszardLegal aspects of work safety at posts hazarded with gas outburst are discussed in the paper. The conditions at which the outburst may take place and the prevention measures are presented.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Bezpieczeństwo pracy pracowników elektroenergetyki(Data obrony: 2018-03-23) Sutkowski, Konrad
Wydział Elektrotechniki, Automatyki, Informatyki i Inżynierii BiomedycznejItem type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Drgania maszyn roboczych urządzeń wiertniczych a bezpieczeństwo pracy(2006) Bednarz, Stanisław; Urba, RomanVibrations cause hazardous effects in mechanical systems of machines. They may result in misoperation of the machines and their working parts, lowering their durability. They also have a negative influence on the crew's health and the environment. Considerable vibrations accompany the process of a well drilling (drilling, hoisting and tripping of the casing, auxiliary works with the main set, e.g. drilling table, head, hoist and pumps). The results of measurements of American, Romanian and Polish drilling rigs are presented in the paper. Drilling rigs should have such a design that hazards related to their use are minimized, mainly at their source.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Geofizyka górnicza jako podstawowe narzędzie pomiarowe współczesnego górnictwa surowców mineralnych(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2009) Dubiński, JózefMining geophysics is classified as a branch of modern applied geophysics, which is being developed rapidly both in Polish and world mining of mineral resources. This is mainly due to the development of mining but also as a result of conducting the mining operations in more and more difficult conditions. Limiting scope of deployment of mining geophysics to the following significant domains - work safety - geological dislocations of the coal seams - preservation of mining areas - essential problems and geophysical methods used when solving them were discussed.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Problemy konstrukcji i eksploatacji sprzętu wiertniczego do wierceń małośrednicowych(2009) Bednarz, Stanisław; Artymiuk, Jan; Lizończyk, WiesławSlimhole drilling technology creates many challenges in design development. Different complexion of the matter depends on variety of drilling rigs and equipment use environment. Requirement of optimum design application is due to limited space conditions of drill bits and rods work. Material and manufacturing process selection comes into prominence on account of this. Safety management during operation of very complex systems controlled by operator is important issue.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Significance of chain quality in work safety(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2018) Midor, Katarzyna; Biały, Witold; Ružbarský, JurajFrom the point of view of the working environment, the quality of the chain used in lifting devices is very important. An important element in hoists and cranes is the short link chain, which largely affects the safety of the worker operating the crane. The article discusses the basic elements affecting the quality and safety of a chain. This analysis clearly shows that, when choosing a supplier, users of these products should be guided not only by the price but, above all, the certificates and attestations that the manufacturer provides for the product.
