    This thesis details conditions for occurrence of Rybnik stream basin, along with streams Niedzielówka and No Name. Based on 33 samples, assessment of uniform surface water bodies quality was conducted that found the chemical status thereof good. However, in terms of bacteriology, they require physical and chemical treatment. On the basis of 13 groundwater samples, assessment of uniform groundwater water bodies was conducted. The analysis showed that these are mostly class II waters, and their chemical status was found good. Water of inferior quality (class IV) was found only in two locations. With the implementation variants proposed by IGO Poltegor and AGH University of Science and Technology, additional water sources have been designated for potential consumers in times of drought. It was also found that stream Rybnik has the greatest workable resources of groundwater (168,03 m3/d), therefore, the proposed implementation variants are feasible.
