    The Valley of the Kwisa is a diverse territory. The region abounds not only with a variety of tourist and cultural attractions, but it is also a place of the development of renewable sources of energy. In the area there are plenty of environmentally friendly hydroelectric power plants and a great number of protected sites of animate and inanimate nature. The region benefits from numerous historic buildings like castles, palaces, churches or monuments, which attract a lot of tourists. The following thesis deals with the data concerning tourist industry of the Valley of the Kwisa. It elaborates on such issues as transport, accommodation and gastronomy. The paper provides information concerning geographical position of the region, its geological structures, climate, water management and the features of the landscape. The main goal of the thesis is to present the attractiveness of Kwisa Community. Particular emphasis is put on the description of renewable sources of energy as a contributing factor to the development of the region.
