Innovative solutions in the products of SAG Sp. z o.o. (LLC)

The article presents the origins and implementations of innovative solutions in the construction of balance ropes that have provided a new quality in the transport of men and materials using mining hoisting devices. In the article the new technical solutions are discussed and the advantages of operation of the SAG type steel rubber coated balance ropes are indicated. A short historical overview of the founding of SAG Company is presented on this background with years of successful experience, which resulted in the implementation of innovative solutions in the offered products ensuring the effectiveness and reliability of their operation.

Artykuł przedstawia genezę powstania i wdrożenia innowacyjnych rozwiązań w konstrukcji lin wyrównawczych, które dały początek nowej jakości w transporcie ludzi i urobku z wykorzystaniem górniczych urządzeń wyciągowych. W artykule omówiono rozwiązania techniczne oraz wskazano walory eksploatacyjne lin wyrównawczych stalowo-gumowych SAG. Na tym tle zaprezentowano krótki rys historyczny powstania firmy SAG, wieloletnie doświadczenie, które zaowocowało wdrażaniem nowatorskich rozwiązań w oferowanych produktach, zapewniających efektywność i niezawodność ich działania.
Design of suspended rail reinforcement

The continuous development of coal extraction technology in hard coal mines, including the increased efficiency of the machinery and equipment used in mining, encourages manufacturers to increase the power of these machines. This also entails an increase in their weight. Transporting these machines to their destination, especially to the face, is the task of suspended transport systems, i.e.: a suspended railway system. The proposed solution consists in welding flat bars to the flanges of the I-beam, which will increase the unit weight of the load that can be carried by each car of the transport set moving along the railway. This paper contains a technical description of the modified rail and basic strength calculations, the results of which confirm the advisability of its use.
Projekt wzmocnienia szyny kolejki podwieszonej

Ciągły rozwój technologii wydobycia urobku w kopalniach węgla kamiennego, w tym zwiększanie wydajności maszyn i urządzeń stosowanych w górnictwie, stymuluje producentów tych maszyn do zwiększania ich mocy. Pociąga to za sobą również wzrost ich masy. Dostarczenie tych maszyn do miejsca przeznaczenia, szczególnie do przodka, jest zadaniem transportu podwieszonego, tj. kolejki podwieszonej. Proponowane rozwiązanie polega na tym, że do półek dwuteownika specjalnego przyspawano płaskowniki, które pozwolą na zwiększenie jednostkowej masy ładunku, możliwej do przewiezienia przez każdy z wózków jezdnych zestawu transportowego poruszającego się po trasie kolejki. Artykuł zawiera opis techniczny szyny o zmodyfikowanej konstrukcji oraz podstawowe obliczenia wytrzymałościowe, których wyniki potwierdzają celowość jej stosowania.
Physical phenomena and chemical reactions - the production of a conveyor belt

Technological development is always associated with exact sciences such as chemistry and physics, thanks to which it is possible to understand the processes taking place in the world around us. These two disciplines interpenetrate each other, and in fact in many cases it is difficult to determine precisely where the first ends and the other begins. The deeper the understanding of the phenomena and laws governing chemistry becomes, the closer it comes to new achievements of the world of physics. Only the implementation of knowledge from both fields allows the continuous improvement of products used in belt transport.
